This is a great opportunity to help a great friend!
Thanks for visiting this blog, which is dedicated to gathering friends and ideas to help Todd and his family through a difficult time as he recovers from his accident earlier this week. Please feel free to chime in with fund raising ideas and thoughts. We hope to set up a fund in the Smith's name at a local bank and are looking forward to finding ways to organize activities that raise some money to help as we can. It seems that fundraisers involving racquetball, bicycling, running etc. would be appropriate.
This blog is a wonderful way to keep everyone updated on Todd. The fundraisers will be enormous support for Todd and his family as he recovers from his injuries. Let me know what role I can fill in planning them. Thank you for setting up this website. I think it will bring comfort to people who really want to get involved.

I believe some friends of Todd's met last night to discuss fundraising possibilities. I'm wondering if someone from that group is going to post info about how others can get involved. I'd appreciate knowing what I can do to help.
